我是阿达玛科技大学机械设计与制造工程专业的应届毕业生，在校期间成绩优异。除了机械工程学位外，我目前正在圣玛丽大学攻读经济学学位，这将对发展我的职业生涯是一个优势。

毕业后，我打算找一份安全的工作，赚钱的同时还可以认识新朋友。由于我的国家埃塞俄比亚的失业率很高，我对找到心仪的工作感到很焦虑。出乎意料的是，我在毕业后一个月内就找到了第一份工作。

前两份工作让我了解到了工作环境与学生时期的环境有很大不同。我懂得了生活本身很平凡，而我们可以选择有目标的平凡和没有目标的平凡。作为新入职的员工，我们会发现在日常生活中总是做很多相同的事情。大多数人想保持在一模一样的平凡中，他们想永远停留在自己的舒适区。然而，我与他们恰恰相反。我是一个思想开放的年轻姑娘，对各种学习经历有着永不满足的兴趣。我总是期待着改变，让我有空间通过挑战自己来学习新东西。

我对前两份工作不满意是因为它们的工作环境不是我心仪的。我想寻找一种能允许我充分发挥自己的创造力的岗位，而不是遵循某种常规。我的愿望是在一个能够设定并完成挑战性目标的环境中工作。我希望能在这样一个岗位上，带动他人以高涨的热情对待工作，并提供优质服务，确保客户满意。

我每天都在寻找一份符合上述要求的工作，直到我加入中国电建。中国电建是一家国际化公司，在世界各地从事关于能源电力、基础设施和水资源与环境的投资、建设、运营的工作。

加入中国电建后，我可以在很短的时间内将自己的能力发挥到极致，从小事做起，逐步完成更重要的任务。我能够测试自己处理重要项目、任务的能力，并成功完成它们，还能够很好地发展我的沟通和任务管理技能。

我也明白了我的弱点是什么——拖延症。我正在加紧努力，安排我的活动，并准备一个每日计划克服拖延症。

中国电建让我对项目管理的财务和技术问题有了进一步的了解。我现在仍然要在工作中继续学习。我每天都在学习新的东西，这让我很开心。因为它给了我动力，让我每天早上醒来，意识到我今天有东西要学。我相信，我将利用我在中国电建获得的知识，发挥我的作用，在工业领域为我的国家做出贡献。

作为年轻人，我们需要明白，我们需要合理地利用我们的时间。  一旦过去，我们就找不到时间、精力和精神。如果我们想获得成功，就必须在年轻时努力工作。每天挑战自己，学习新事物，发挥创造力。我们期望能够解决自己的问题、为社会和国家的发展做出贡献。

目前，我正在亚的斯亚贝巴大学攻读工商管理硕士学位。我学习这门课程是因为我想了解商业管理，将其与我的工程知识相结合，并在公司工程部锻炼。我的未来目标是在工程部门发挥重要的管理作用，这将让我有勇气鼓励其他像我一样的年轻女性同伴。

我对自己的工作很满意，并期待着成为更好的自己。

I am a recent graduate in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Engineering from Adama Science and Technology University with distinction. In addition to my Mechanical Engineering degree, I am currently in my last year of pursuing my Economics degree at St. Mary University, which is an advantage to developing my career.

After graduation, I planned to find a safe job to help me make some money and meet new people. As my country Ethiopia has a high unemployment rate, I was anxious about finding the job that I was looking for. Surprisingly, I landed my first job within a month of my graduation.

My first two jobs were opportunities to teach me how the work environment is so much different from the student environment. The main thing that I learned is that life is a routine. We get to choose between a routine with a goal and a routine without. As humans, we always find ourselves doing more of the same thing in our everyday life. Most people want to stay in the same routine. They want to stay in their comfort zone forever. However, I was never that person. I still am not. I am an open-minded young woman who has an insatiable interest in a variety of learning experiences. I am always looking forward to a change that gives me the space to learn new things through challenging myself.

I was not happy with my first two jobs. Because they were not the work environment, I was looking for. My wish was to work in an environment where I was able to set and accomplish challenging objectives. I wanted to be in a position where I encourage others to perform at the most elevated level they can and provide quality service to make sure that my client is satisfied.

Every day I was searching for a job, that fulfilled the previously stated requirements until I joined Sinohydro. Sinohydro Corporation Limited is an international company that works on various sites all over the world that are related to substation and transmission lines for Electrical power projects.

Joining Sinohydro allowed me to push myself to my limits and learn from the small task up to the important task in a very short time. I was able to test my capability in handling important project tasks and finish them successfully. I was able to develop my communication and task management skills very well.

I also understood what my weakness is. It is procrastination. I am intensively working on it by scheduling my activities and preparing a daily plan.

Sinohydro allowed me to develop my understanding of project management regards to finance and technical issues. I am still a student at Sinohydro. I am learning new things every day. That makes me happy.  Because it gives me the drive to wake up every morning and realize that I have something to learn today. I am sure that I will use the knowledge I acquired from Sinohydro to play my role to help my country in the industrial sector.

We as youth need to understand that we need to use our time wisely. We won’t find the time, energy, and spirit once it passed. If we want to live a successful life we must work hard while we are young. We must challenge ourselves every day to learn new things and be creative. We are expected to be problem-solvers for ourselves, our society, and our nation.

Currently, I am pursuing my master's in Business Administration at Addis Ababa University. I am learning this course because I want to understand business management to combine it with my engineering knowledge and implement it in the industrial sector. My future goal is to play a significant role as a manager in the engineering sector which will allow me to encourage other fellow young women like me.

I am happy with my job and looking forward to becoming a better version of myself.
